Who We Are.
Interior Design Gallery is a small family team ran by Jan Niels, one of the best designers in Texas. Her design expertise is the root of our company, guiding the rest of the team with her 30+ years of experience. At the heart of this company, however, is family and friendship. IDG is helped run by Jan’s husband and daughter, as well as a network of some of the state’s most distinguished architects, builders, artisans, and other innovative professionals. The relationships built with our clients is a constant motivation to continue to produce beautiful homes and quality work- we consider our clients to be family.
Jan Niels
Jan, who is active in a wide variety of charitable organizations, was named one of Texas’ most influential women in business by the Austin Business Journal. She belongs to several industry organizations, including the American Society of Interior Designers, the National Home Builders Assn. and the National Home Furnishings Assn., Best Practices Network-an exclusive nationwide group of Interior Design entrepreneurs improving the design profession as a whole.
Billy Niels
Billy is the other half of the company, and the husband of Jan. Billy is a lifelong entrepreneur who manages the business side and logistics of many parts of the company. He works alongside Jan to highlight her expertise by handling the behind-the-scenes. Together, Billy and Jan make a great duo, producing hundreds of beautiful homes across Texas.
